Narrabeen Lagoon provides a sheltered inland waterway just an hour by bus from the CBD. Hire a kayak and explore the 14+km of shore line and many small creeks, take a picnic or visit one of several cafes along the eastern side.

A 4 hour, 260km, drive west of Sydney is the amazing Ganguddy-Dunns Swamp National park with a campground set in a woodland of scribbly gums and pagoda rock formations.

Kangaroo Valley is home to kangaroos, wombats and the Bendeela campgorund.  Paddle on the Kangaroo River, Lake Yarrunga and Tallowa Dam.  Just 2.5 hours south of the Sydney CBD.

Ningaloo Reef is on the west side of the Cape Range National Park, located about half way between Perth and Broome.  Paddle inside the reef through turquoise blue water, snorkel in marine reserves and camp in isolated sand dunes.

The south west of Tasmania is an isolated and at times wild and rugged location. From Hobart take a flight across to Bathurst Harbour where the adventure begins - 7 nights camping and kayaking  in the pristine south west.
