About Greenwich

Manns Point, Greenwich

There is no club house at Manns Point.  The club's fleet of kayaks are stored on a rack built by Lane Cove Council at the eastern end of Manns Point, Manns Place, just past the Sailing club.  There is plenty of 10 hour free parking.

This fleet currently includes 8 sea kayaks,  and 2 skis, including 1 suitable for fishing, 3 sit on tops and 1 double kayak.

Before you paddle

All members using the Greenwich site are expected to read and understand the Member Orientation Guide.


Kayak Share Club runs occasional orientation paddle events from the Greenwich site. To join these sessions please visit the orientation page.

Before you paddle make sure you remember:

  • Check the weather
  • Give way to ferries, sail and motor boats
  • Tell someone where you are paddling
  • Wear a Lifejacket
  • Hat, sunscreen
  • Take Water
  • Protect your feet with sensible shoes
